SEPV Sierra is being developed as an Energy Storage System (ESS) where batteries are charged from onsite PV.  First phase of project operational in Q1 2020. Additional phases of the project in 2020 will build out to a planned 17 MWh of battery storage, which is a two hour discharge at this 8.5 MW capacity site. This innovative storage system is being deployed in conjunction with affiliated company, B2U Storage Solutions, Inc, with a superior levelized cost of storage with lower CapEx and OpEx than alternative storage systems. Visit www.b2uco.com to learn more.
