SEPV DIXIELAND EAST AND SEPV DIXIELAND WEST SOLAR PROJECTS

PROJECT FACT SHEET…

Solar Electric Solutions ("SES"), through its wholly owned subsidiary SEPV Imperial LLC, developed and permitted the two megawatt (MWac) SEPV Dixieland East solar project and the three megawatt (MWac) SEPV Dixieland West solar project. Cost-competitive, renewable power generated by the facility is sold to Imperial Irrigation District under a 20-year power purchase agreement, awarded in 2015 to the SES subsidiary under the IID's Feed-In Tariff Program.

The projects are located in Imperial County approximately five (5) miles west of the community of Seeley, adjacent to IID's existing Dixieland substation. The projects have minimal impacts, using negligible water during construction for dust suppression and during operations for module washing.

The projects provide the State of California with a new source of renewable energy to assist in achieving the state's Renewable Portfolio Standards, while creating jobs that boost the local economy, and supplying enough electricity to power 1,800 homes. By generating clean renewable energy and avoiding any of the carbon emissions that would be produced by a fossil-fueled power plant, the projects will contribute to cleaner air and result in a smaller carbon footprint for the State.

SES sold SEPV Imperial LLC to AES Distributed Energy in June 2016 after completing development. The project is expected to reach commercial operation in 2016.
